WouldYouTho is a platform where a creator proposes a dare with a funding goal, backers pledge money toward it, and — if the goal is reached and the creator proves they did it — backers are charged and the creator gets paid. WouldYouTho is an intermediary: we host the listing, hold card details on file through our payment processor, run the review and payout process, and settle disputes by reference to the recorded history of each dare. We are not a party to the dare itself. We do not promise that a dare will happen, that a creator will complete it as described, or that a video counts as adequate proof beyond our own review.
When you pledge, you authorize us to save your card on file. Your card is not charged at that point. It is only charged after the dare is fully funded, the creator submits proof, and that proof is reviewed and approved — and only for the amount you pledged. If a dare never reaches its funding goal, if the creator misses the completion deadline, or if the creator cancels the dare before funding closes, your pledge is voided and you are never charged. You can withdraw your own pledge at any time before the funding deadline passes, for any reason, with no charge and no penalty.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a dare or to pledge to one. By creating an account or making a pledge you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Every dare is manually reviewed before it goes live. The following are never allowed: serious risk of injury, anything illegal, alcohol/substance abuse, harassment or dares targeting others, sexual content, hate. A dare that violates this list will be rejected or removed, and repeat or severe violations can result in the account being suspended.
Passing the checklist above is necessary but not sufficient. We review every dare by hand and may reject, delay, or remove a dare — before or after it goes live — for any reason connected to the integrity, safety, or reputation of the platform, even if it does not clearly fall into one of the categories above. Submitting a dare does not create a right to have it approved or kept live, and we do not owe an explanation beyond what we choose to share.
When a pledge is captured, WouldYouThokeeps a platform fee of 10% of the captured amount. On top of that, our payment processor deducts its own processing costs from the amount it settles to us, the same way it would for any other card payment. Both are deducted before the creator's payout is calculated — the creator never receives an invoice for them separately.
Every status change on a dare or a pledge — created, funded, proof submitted, approved, rejected, charged, cancelled — is written to an append-only event log with a timestamp and the actor who caused it. If you dispute a charge with us or with your card issuer, we use this event log as the record of what happened and when. Keeping this log intact is how we are able to respond to chargebacks quickly and fairly for both backers and creators.

We may update these terms as WouldYouTho evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use WouldYouTho after a change means you accept the updated terms.
